Stars and Spooks was a blast. Leo’s mom is a good friend of mine and she LOVES Halloween more than anyone that I know. She throws the most amazing and ‘extra’ blow out parties every year. Her baby required a Halloween theme to his quilt. He has to start learning all of his spooks early. I also had been wanting to try the Starry Star Pattern for a baby and decided to merge these two quilts into one. Lucky Leo indeed.

I was in a terribly hectic point in life and my quilty friend Susan did the quilting for me…. thanks girl. you saved me hours.

The stars and background are made of the Starry Fabric from Ruby Star Society. A great favorite of mine as they make great additions to any quilt.

The back is the starry prints and solids from my stash.

The back uses 2 Ruby Star prints. It is Spooky Darlings and Fun Gum Candy. SO CUTE!
